It all started with a rose...
In the early1930s the young confectioner trainee Mathias Szamos learned the art of making marzipan roses from a Danish master confectioner. After a lot of practice, he also became an expert.
By the 60s the company grown into an independent family business often. In the 70s and 80s the portfolio was expanded with further products like marzipan figures and desserts. Today, it emploies almost 500 employees and export to Europe and overseas.
